Tim is an experienced corporate lawyer based in Antwerp, Belgium.
He advises mainly Dutch organisations active in Belgium and serves as lawyer & board secretary for several family offices, companies and start-ups in a variety of industries including healthcare, road safety, AI/technology, media & entertainment and sports.
Tim is a published author on topics related to corporate law, mergers and acquisitions and the Belgian Company Code, and was recognised by legal guides such as the Legal 500 and European Legal Experts as an expert in his field.
He worked for more than 30 years at Deloitte Legal Belgium, including almost 20 years as a partner where he held positions on the Management Committee and served as the Global Talent & Learning leader for Deloitte Legal.

As facilitator and leadership coach –
Today, Tim spends most of his time as a senior advisor and faculty lecturer at Deloitte University EMEA having their new bespoke campus near Paris. He enjoys facilitating multiple leadership development programs, business chemistry and negotiations skills trainings.
He is often dean, lead facilitator or project manager of conferences, workshops, symposia and masterclasses in Belgium and The Netherlands on leadership, strategy updates, growth, and governance/legal topics.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Tim is actively involved in ESG/corporate social responsibility and purpose-driven programs, including serving as the Chair of the Board of Time for Society vzw.
On a personal note, Tim was born near Amsterdam in the Netherlands, raised with some South-Caribbean flavour and lives in Antwerp (Belgium). He is a sports enthusiast with a particular passion for tennis and field hockey. He is also a devoted fan of Ajax Amsterdam. He can often be found reading (international) newspapers and enjoying a cup of espresso. Tim also loves to go on city trips and spending time with his family and close friends, particularly when it involves dining out. He is especially a proud husband and father, and he adores his dog, Billie!
